The GT86 G5 Plug-in is a standalone, plug-and-play replacement for the stock ECU and connects directly to the original wiring harness without the need for an adapter cable. It comes with a sample map to help you get started with tuning. The GT86 G5 Plug-in uses the same powerful microcontroller and firmware as the G5 Voodoo Pro .
Designed for the 2.0L 4U-GSE/FA20 H4 engine . Supports both manual and automatic transmissions.
Supported models:
• Toyota 86 , ZN6, 2012–2021
• Toyota GT86 , ZN6, 2012-2021
• Subaru BRZ , ZC6, 2012–2020
• Scion FR-S , 2013–2016
For further technical information please see the “Features” and “Specifications” tabs.
Included in delivery:
• G5-GT86 Plug-in ECU
• USB-C connection cable
• Lockable USB-C extension cable for easy tuning access
• 2 x M6 screws for mounting the ECU in the OEM bracket
• DTM4 CAN connection cable (pre-installed in the housing)
• Link sticker
Note: 2017 and later models have some differences from earlier vehicles and will not work with the sample maps provided in PCLink and the standard plug-in ECU hardware.
• Engines from 2017 onwards have a Hall effect crankshaft sensor instead of a reluctor sensor, so the Trigger 1 type must be changed from "Reluctor" to "Optical/Hall" and the Trigger 1 pull-up must be set to "On".
• Engines from 2017 onwards have a different DI fuel pressure sensor than earlier models. This sensor has 4 pins instead of 3 and requires an 8.2 kOhm pull-up resistor wired between C7 (An Volt 4) and 5V. Additionally, the DI fuel pressure source must be changed from An Volt 3 to An Volt 4 , and the pressure calibration must be set to 4119.6 kPa at 3.62 V and 9790.6 kPa at 2.94 V.
